What this page covers

These terms cover your use of this website and any estimate you request through it. They are not the agreement for the work itself. If you go ahead with a job, the written quote we give you is the agreement, and where the two ever disagree, the quote wins.

Prices on this site are ranges, not offers

Every figure published here — per door, per kitchen, per job — is a range for typical work in the Murfreesboro market, given so you can sanity-check what you are quoted. It is not a price offer and it does not bind either of us. Your price depends on the door and drawer count, the front material, the door style, what is included and what condition the boxes are in, and it is fixed only once it is written on your quote.

Requesting an estimate

Sending the form or calling us is a request, not a booking. It costs nothing, there is no obligation, and either of us can walk away at any point before the quote is signed. Please give us accurate details about the kitchen and the work — a quote built on the wrong count helps nobody.

The technical content on this site

The materials, cure times, construction standards and licensing notes published here are general guidance for residential cabinetry in Middle Tennessee, and we cite our sources where we use one. They are not an assessment of your kitchen. What your cabinets are actually made of, and therefore what can be done to them, is decided at the visit and stated on your quote.

What we do and do not take on

We reface, paint, refinish, repair and build residential cabinetry. We do not sell flat-pack or ready-to-assemble cabinets, fit countertops, do the plumbing or electrical work a layout change needs, or take on general remodeling. Where a job needs one of those, we say so and name the right trade instead of selling you something adjacent.

Tennessee licensing is set by contract value, and Rutherford County is one of only nine counties requiring a Home Improvement Contractor license for residential work from $3,000 to under $25,000. Above $25,000 a full state contractor license applies instead. We publish no license number on this website, and you should not accept one published on any website as proof — ask to see the license itself, in your kitchen, before you sign anything.

Permits

Refacing, painting, refinishing and repairing cabinets in place does not normally require a building permit, because nothing structural, electrical or plumbed is being altered. A job that moves a wall, relocates plumbing or changes the electrical supply does, and that is a different job from the ones this site sells. We tell you at the visit if what you want crosses that line.

Using the site

The text, photographs and layout on this site belong to us or are licensed to us. You are welcome to read, print and share pages. Do not copy the content to publish as your own. Do not try to break, overload or extract data from the site.

Where we link out — to a city permit form or a technical reference, for example — we link because it supports something we said. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Limits

We keep this site accurate and update it when something changes, but we do not promise it is free of every error or available without interruption. Nothing on this page limits any right you have under Tennessee law, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
